SV Tel is the leader in India of ISDN Phone manufacturer and supllier.

There are basically two types of ISDN:

1. BRI (Basic Rate Interface): BRI consist of two 64 kbps “B-channels” and one “D-channel” for transmitting control information.
2. PRI (Primary Rate Interface): PRI consist of 23 “B-channels” and one “D-channels” this configuration is available in USA and 30 “B-channels” and one “D-channel” this configuration available in Europe.

The original version of ISDN uses baseband transmission. Another version of ISDN, called B-ISDN, uses broadband transmission and is capable to support transmission rates of 1.5 Mbps. B-ISDN requires optical fiber cables and is not widely available.
